Specialisms: A contaminated land specialist with 15 years' experience, both as a consultant and a regulator.
Career: I have significant experience working for both the public and private sector on contaminated land site investigations and remediation projects. I am highly experienced in all areas of land contamination management including preliminary risk assessment, human health and controlled waters detailed quantitative risk assessment (CLEA, SNIFFER & EA P20 Methodology) along with experience of site management of remediation projects. In 2015, I became a Senior Officer, with responsibilities for contaminated land, air quality, LA PPC and LA IPPC and planning advice.

Career: Following my graduation from Northampton University I joined the Cornwall Air Quality Unit where I became an Environmental Consultant. My experience here included Local Air Quality Management, ambient air quality monitoring, modelling and assessment as well as workplace based personal exposure sampling, project design and management. I later joined Cornwall Council as Environmental Protection Enforcement Officer where I am responsible for maintenance of Cornwall Council's monitoring network of diffusion tubes, AQ Mesh, Osiris and chemiluminescent analysers; and undertaking investigations into personal exposure to respirable pollutants.

Career: Miles is part of our consultancy team having joined in 2007. Miles has been awarded an MSc in Environmental Health from Derby University, completing a contaminated land project in the final year. Miles has extensive experience in reviewing and providing advice on contaminated land reports. His main work involves the delivery of contaminated land advice, preliminary risk assessment, human health detailed quantitative risk assessment. He also undertakes legionella risk assessments of hot and cold water systems, and personal monitoring of air quality from exposure to dust.

Career: In 2012 I joined the team, working on leisure water, legionella and private water supplies. I later developed specialties in air quality, taking on responsibility for maintaining Cornwall Council's monitoring network of diffusion tubes, AQ Mesh, Osiris and chemiluminescent analysers; Local Site Operator for Saltash air quality monitoring station on behalf of the DEFRA Automatic Urban and Rural Network (AURN); writing reports to meet regulatory Local Air Quality Management requirements.

Career: I have over 20 years of experience largely within the public sector but also private sector health and safety management roles (overseas). I am highly experienced in the review of contaminated land, noise, and odour assessments for the local planning authority including liaising with agents, developers and consultants.

Iím highly experienced in all aspects of water quality monitoring and sampling. I am responsible for undertaking legionella sampling and risk assessments, and private water supply monitoring including water systems, risk assessments and sampling. I also manage our leisure water contracts.

Career: I have worked in Environmental Health for 8 years in both management and environmental consultancy roles. My specialism is water sampling and risk assessing water supplies including boreholes, springs and wells. I enjoy providing customers with advice on how to improve the safety of their water systems and manage many of our commercial water sampling contracts including the events packages used by festivals.
